Third Annual 26.2 with Donna The National Marathon to Finish Breast Cancer is now closed

Online fundraising for the Third Annual 26.2 with Donna The National Marathon to Finish Breast Cancer held on February 21, 2010 is now closed.  Online fundraising for the Fourth Annual 26.2 with Donna opens on May 1, 2010.  

Thank you for your commitment and dedication to this cause.  Thanks to you, we surpassed our fundraising goals with more than 200 thousand dollars raised.

“Fundraising in our race is not a requirement. So, in a year which was economically challenging for everyone, the fact that runners chose to raise more than 200 thousand dollars is impressive,” said Donna Deegan, founder of 26.2 with Donna. “It just speaks to the commitment to our cause.”

All proceeds from the 26.2 with Donna are split between two non-profits.  Seventy percent goes to the Mayo Clinic for bench top breast cancer research,  with the remaining thirty percent going to The Donna Foundation to help breast cancer patients with their critical financial needs as they undergo treatment.

It starts with a run. It only stops when breast cancer is finished.
