Dear Family and Friends,

As I look forward to 2012, which will be my 11 year anniversary of surviving breast cancer, I have decided to participate in "The 26.2 Run with Donna to finish breast cancer"  half marathon and raise at least $11,000 ($1,000 for each year that I have been blessed to live life post diagnoses) 

I had the pleasure of meeting Donna during one of her visits at Genentech.  She is amazing.  A three time survivor that is going after cancer with a passion that got me so excited, I had to take action, commit to running and fund raising.

Genentech's BioOncology group sponsors this event and I am very grateful to be a member of team Genentech traveling to Jacksonville Florida in February.

100% of the funds raised go directly to research or to patient and their family in treatment needing financial assistance.
